Social events and BBQ's
"Get together/bbq" for the 4c Club 4th March 2011
Having a club event Saturday 5th of March 2011.
Meeting at "The Spit" carpark, Gold Coast at 12:00 (midday).
Also called "Doug Jennings Park.

Look for the Blue RA28( pictures of this car are in the members rides).
To Leave for a BBQ with softdrink and snags supplied( byo other meat/alcohol) at 1:00pm at the club presidents house.
Come talk and look and get to know some fellow classic celica owners.
Let us know if your going to attend so we dont oversupply for soft drink and snags.

Rules for cruze's and social events
Note: This post may change from a day to day basis, please make sure you check for updates before every cruise.
Requirements:
- Indicate appropriately at all times.
- Apply your brakes at an appropriate time to warn all other traffic uses you're stopping.
- If stopping in a hurry, ensure cars behind and in front of you have optimal warning to prevent accidents.
- If your car is wearing a 4c sticker, please ensure to be polite to all other road users.
- Give way and stop appropriately at all times.
- Do not run red lights or lights that have been amber for a longer than 5 seconds.
- If you're a cruise leader be prepared to stop at lights to make sure all members can stay together.
- If you go through a light, pull over a safe distance a head, with room for all other cars to catch up or stop.
Rules and Regulations:
- Obey ALL road rules.
- If you're leading the group and you are speeding you will be asked to fall to the back and a new member will lead.
- If you are seen doing burnouts you will be asked to leave the cruise.
- If you do this again afterwards you will receive a life ban.
- As above, the same rules apply to "Drifting" and Speeding.
- You must not drive under the influence of drugs or alcohol. If you're on your P's and are seen to be drink-driving the police will be notified of your car, registration and location. If you're on your Opens only you will know how many drinks you can have and stay under that legal Blood/Alcohol limit
- If you're seen drink-driving you will be asked to leave the cruise. Second offense will ensure a life ban.
Race and track events
"Build it, then break it" First ever track event
To all fellow 4c club members, we are looking at participating in Test'n'Tune event at Willowbank racway on Saturday 12th of Febuary 2011.
If any other members want to organise an earlier event, then please let us know.
*Statement from Willowbank raceway on Test'n'Tune events:
Test'n'Tune events are to cater for any competitor to bring their vehicle for Testing. Entry is on the day at the gate.
Please note that dates can change throughout the season .
Willowbank also now has "Extreme rides" on test n tune days, which allows you to take a passenger down the drag strip in the car with you.
Cost
•$40 to race, admits the entrant and one other.
•Spectators $20 adults, $18 students with ID
•Children 13 & under are free
•$20 for Extreme ride passenger
Saturday Events
Gates open at 4pm and runs commence at 4.30pm
Cars
(slower than 10.99 sec)
Requirements
•helmet to Standard
•long sleeve shirt
•long pants
•covered shoes & socks


CRUSE events
Flood Victims appeal cruise Cruze 29th January 2011
Now that the 4c club has started to gain a few members, it has been decided to have our cruze on the 29th of January 2011.
We ask for all people attending the cruise donate $10(more if you want to), which the club will forward to the Premiers Flood victim appeal.
Meeting point for this cruze will be KFC Beenleigh carpark ( Reservior Street, Beenleigh) @ 2:00pm. Look for the white RA65 with large 4c sticker on the rear window.
Leaving KFC @ 3:00pm, to head towards Logan Village, Tamborine, Jimboomba Cunungra, Nerang and back to Beenleigh at about 7:30pm.
